Summary
The CGL Type Mechanical Screen is a coarse screening system designed for the preliminary stage of wastewater treatment. Its primary function is to automatically remove large debris such as plastics, leaves, rags, wood, and other floating solids before they enter downstream treatment processes, helping protect pumps and equipment while reducing maintenance requirements.
The system uses a continuous moving rake mechanism to lift captured debris from the screen and discharge it into a collection bin. It is available in multiple sizes with screen widths from 300–2,200 mm, bar spacing of 3–20 mm, installation angles of 60°–80°, and can handle flow capacities up to 10,000 m³/h depending on the selected model.
